John Most, poet, was born in Covington, Virginia on April 11, 1977.

He attended the University of Virginia before earning a PhD from the European Graduate School in Poetics.

He has taught courses at Virginia Commonwealth University and the European Graduate School.

He is the author of many books of poetry. His most recent book of poems is Winter Works.
